Get Out There!
The Outreach team at Response is here for YOU!Teens today face many difficult and challenging issues, and often may not feel that their voice is being heard. The Outreach Team is unique because when YOU TALK, WE LISTEN!
What is “Outreach?”
Outreach is exactly what is sounds like- reaching out. We reach out to teens every day by providing interactive workshops and programs in your schools and other organizations where teens spend time, like synagogues, churches, and summer camps.
We talk about issues that matter to YOU, like stress management, body image, alcohol and drug prevention, sexual identity, and healthy relationships. You may have seen us in your school already doing our Sex 101 program or teambuilding activities.

Operation Snowball
Operation Snowball can best be described as summer camp packed into a weekend. It’s a retreat planned and led by teens that provides an opportunity for students to meet and connect with peers from all over the Chicagoland area. With support from Response staff, our Teen Leaders run a weekend full of fun activities and discussions around topics especially relevant to teens, like substance abuse prevention, depression, diversity, stress management, sexuality, dating violence and many more.
Snowball is an experience that should not be missed. Last year, we had 61 participants attend Snowball, 52% came on full scholarships and 41% on partial scholarships. In an effort to give every teen the opportunity to come to Snowball we will be hosting a few fundraising events throughout the year to help raise our scholarship funds.
Snowball will be taking place this year from March 10-12th. Please stay tuned for registration info!
