What makes a relationship healthy? How do I set boundaries? What if I got pregnant? How can I learn about birth control? What’s a Sexually Transmitted Infection (STI)?  It’s natural to want to know, and Response can help with the answers.

Response’s Center partners with Mt. Sinai Hospital to provide prevention-based education, emotional support, testing and reproductive health care for young adults. Our goal is to empower individuals to make healthy choices about their reproductive health and romantic relationships.

An Annual Center Membership includes:

  • Comprehensive education, as needed 
  • Annual exam and six-month follow-up
  • Access to several different methods of birth control (nominal additional fee)
  • Free condoms
  • STI testing and treatment, if necessary
  • Treatment for yeast infections and urinary tract infections
  • Pregnancy testing
  • Consultation with Center staff

The Center Also Offers
Limited walk-in services such as options counseling, condom demonstrations, emergency contraception and pregnancy testing.
There are fees for some of these services, so please call us for information.
The Center for Sexual Health is completely confidential; parental consent is not required.

Getting Started:
The intake process includes meeting with a counselor and a medical provider.  This is a time to ask and have your questions answered. Our medical providers are able to provide testing, exams and birth control options.

A $50.00 fee will be charged for males and females in need of confidential testing and treatment. This fee will also cover the cost of a follow up six-month exam and ongoing consultation with Center staff as needed. The fee for oral contraception or the Nuva ring is $10.00 per month. The fee for the Depo Provera is $30.00 per injection.
