At your initial exam you will be tested for several sexually transmitted infections. You will be tested for Chlamydia, Gonorrhea, Syphilis, and HIV. We cannot test for Herpes unless you have an active blister or sore. Females will also receive a pregnancy test at their initial exam. Females who are over 21 or have been sexually active for three years will also receive a pap-smear exam. All members of the teen clinic are encouraged to come back for a 6-month exam to retest for Chlamydia and Gonorrhea. The 6-month exam is a free test that is offered to you for being a member of our program.
