The length of time varies from person to person and is something that is determined by the counselor in collaboration with your child in the case of individual counseling and by the family in the case of family counseling.Things that influence the length of a counseling relationship include, but are not limited to, the counseling goals and the issues that may be addressed. Most clients attend for approximately 6 months to one year.
